Each year the AMA releases updates to the CPT codes at their annual Symposium.  Detailed information about revised and new codes is disseminated to attendees and is shared with those listening to this audioconference.  2026 will see 288 new codes, 84 deletions and 46 revisions.

Knowledge of the CPT codes, even in a perfunctory manner, is an important part of looking forward to the next year’s code assignment.

Topics to be discussed include the areas of:

  • Vaccines & Immunization Administration
  • Cardiology
  • Urology
  • Gastroenterology
  • Lower extremity re-vascularization
  • And others
Webinar Objectives

As new codes are released each year, many that work in coding and billing only focus on the ones they are currently billing.   Having an exposure to all new and revised codes is important.  Not only to keep those working directly with the new codes informed and updates on any changes, but also those who are not.  Those who might find themselves tomorrow I need of the knowledge.  This overview lecture on the new and revised CPT updates gives all attendees valuable knowledge for their coding and billing as we enter 2026.

Webinar Agenda

Each of the chapters in the CPT book for 2025 is reviewed for revisions to code and new codes.  Each is discussed in detail.

Webinar Highlights
  • Codes for re-vascularization
  • Codes for shorter duration remote monitoring
  • Codes reflective of the growth of digital health, AI and outpatient care
  • Codes for AI-assisted diagnostics
  • Codes for medical services regarding hearing devices
